Q&A
Questions & Answers
  1. Can I get a massage after my spray tan? No. Try to schedule a day or two before your session or when your tan is ending.
  2. If you forgot and didn't get your mani's and pedi's before your session...then only get a polish change. Skip the foot and hand massage.
  3. Can I work out after my spray tan? Not until after your first rinse? Regular Solution is 8 hrs. Rapid Solution 1-4 hrs 24 hrs is required for full development. *Remember friction and wear from tight clothes will cause fade marks in those areas. Try to work out in loose clothing.
  4. Can I put on makeup after my spray tan? Only powder makeup? No creams or lotions until after developing time.
  5. I'm hot natured do I have to sleep in PJ bottoms and long sleeve shirt? We don't want skin on skin contact while developing.  If it's a problem try one of my rapid solutions so you can rinse the bronzer off quicker. I still recommend the PJ's.
  6. I'm going to the beach. will it be a problem? I tell everyone to put on sun screen before getting in the pool and too use an Extender at night to refresh color.
  7. How Long does it last? Anywhere from 5-10 days. Everybody's skin if different.
  8. Do you give Student and military discounts? I do 10% off  single full body spray tans.
  9. My skin is so dry can I put lotion on after my first rinse? It is recommended that you wait the full 24 hrs.
  10. I've been working all day, can I shower before my appointment? No please don't. Unless you have been sweating from working out, but even then cool rinse only no soap or body wash. Showering right before a session can cause your tan to develop lighter because the pores are more open and have absorbed water. Plus water changes the PH of your skin.
  11. Shower, Shave, and Exfoliate in that order should be done night before. Make sure you exfoliate (with a non oily scrub) last to get any residue from conditioner off your back and legs. Shower no sooner than 4 hrs prior to your sunless appointment. Do not exfoliate or shave right before you come. Moisture strips and shave cream with alcohol can leave residue on your legs causing the tan not to take. Shave with conditioner instead.
  12. Use an oil free scrub with an exfoliating glove. Please don't use salt scrubs or harsh abrasive scrubs that can leave scratch marks on your skin.
  13. Keeping your tan moisturized is so important! 2x's a day and use a lotion that's ok for spray tans. One with no mineral oil or petroleum. My mini Hempz lotions smell delicious.
